Email Policy

This Email Policy describes the email messages Tendwa sends, the basis for sending them, and how to manage your preferences. It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. Categories of email we send

Transactional

Sent on the basis of contract or legitimate interest. Cannot be unsubscribed from while you have an active account.

  • Account verification and password reset.
  • Billing and payment receipts.
  • Security alerts (e.g., new sign-in from unrecognised device).
  • Service availability notifications.
  • Invoices and estimates sent to your customers (you control these).

Operational

Sent on the basis of legitimate interest. You can opt out without affecting your account.

  • Product changelog and release notes.
  • Maintenance and incident notices.

Marketing

Sent only with your consent. You can opt out via the unsubscribe link in every marketing email or by emailing privacy@tendwa.com.

  • Newsletter (occasional).
  • Product announcements and educational content.

2. CAN-SPAM compliance

Marketing emails from Tendwa comply with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act. Specifically:

  • The “From” line clearly identifies Tendwa.
  • Subject lines accurately reflect the content.
  • The physical mailing address of MI INNOVATIONS LLC is included.
  • Every marketing email contains a working unsubscribe link.
  • Unsubscribe requests are honoured within 10 business days.

3. Email delivery infrastructure

We use Microsoft Azure Communication Services to deliver email. Our sending domain is authenticated with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.

4. Customer-initiated emails

When a Customer (the shop) sends an invoice or estimate to its own customer through Tendwa, the message is sent on the Customer’s behalf. The Customer is responsible for ensuring it has a valid lawful basis to email its end customers and for complying with applicable anti-spam laws.

5. Reporting abuse

To report email abuse originating from Tendwa or from a shop using Tendwa, email privacy@tendwa.com. We investigate every report and take appropriate action, including suspending accounts where necessary.

6. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change.
