Tendwa is software used by independent automotive service shops to manage their operations — point of sale, inventory, estimates, invoices, and customer records. This Disclaimer explains the relationship between Tendwa, the shops that use it, and the consumers who receive service from those shops.
1. Tendwa is not the service provider
MI INNOVATIONS LLC provides software only. We do not perform any tire installation, wheel service, alignment, mechanical repair, inspection, or other automotive work.
When you receive service from a shop that uses Tendwa, your contract is with that shop — not with us. The shop is solely responsible for the quality, timeliness, and safety of any work performed, the parts used, and any warranties offered.
2. Estimates and invoices generated by shops
Estimates and invoices generated through Tendwa reflect line items entered by the shop. Pricing, scope of work, parts selection, and labour rates are determined by the shop. Tendwa provides the tools to record and present these items but does not verify their accuracy or reasonableness.
3. VIN and vehicle data
Tendwasurfaces vehicle information (make, model, year, engine specs, oil specs, tire/wheel fitment) from third-party sources including the U.S. NHTSA database, the Wheel-Size API, and OEM service publications interpreted by AI. While we work to keep this data accurate, we cannot guarantee it for any specific vehicle. Always verify against the manufacturer’s recommendations and the vehicle owner’s manual before performing service.
4. Tire fitment and load/speed ratings
Tire fitment data is provided as a reference. The ultimate responsibility for choosing a tire that meets a vehicle’s load, speed, and fitment requirements rests with the shop performing the installation and the vehicle owner. Replacement tires must meet or exceed the original-equipment specifications unless otherwise approved by a qualified technician.
5. Recall and safety information
Where Tendwa surfaces recall flags or safety notices from public databases (e.g., NHTSA), this information is informational only. Always confirm recall status directly with the manufacturer or an authorised dealer before relying on it.
6. Warranty
Any warranty on parts or workmanship is provided by the shop, the parts manufacturer, or both — not by Tendwa. Read the warranty terms attached to your invoice before authorising service.
7. Consumer rights
Consumers have rights under federal and state law (including, in California, the Automotive Repair Act and the Bureau of Automotive Repair’s consumer protection rules). Those rights are between the consumer and the service shop, and are unaffected by Tendwa’s role as the software provider.
8. Disputes between consumers and shops
Any dispute about service quality, billing, or warranty must be raised with the shop directly. Tendwacan, on request, provide a copy of the digital record (estimate, invoice, signature timestamp) it stored on the shop’s behalf, but does not adjudicate disputes.
9. No medical, legal, or financial advice
Information surfaced through Tendwa is operational. It is not legal, medical, or financial advice and should not be relied on as such.
